I’m anxiously awaiting everything RR is claiming they’ll produce. Now with news of the exorbitant Warn/Ford that’s not compatible with BD…I’m banking on this offering. This company has had a page showing a winch-in-bumper option, but theres no details and it hasnt updated in forever (they aer prob waiting on thier bronco like the rest of us)

Thats exciting! This started life as the stock modular bumper but somehow they hid a Warn winch (one of the sponsors) behind the intercooler above the skid plate. I don't know what special other changes were involved, but at least we know it's possible.
As it turns out, it is trivial to make a hidden mount if you cut off the unused frame tabs and shift the intercooler slightly. RoughCountry has a cheap hidden mounting kit, but currently only for the plastic bumper. Hopefully we'll see some options soon for the modular bumper.Does anyone know if any companies are planning on doing something like this?

RoughCountry instructions:
On my 2.3 I could leave the control box as is but did make a clutch tool.Hidden winch + cylinder = cannot reach free spool lever and you need to make a custom tool to turn it on a 4 cylinder.
Just remote mount the winch controller
lobo offroad -- how did you mount the winch -- i also have capable bumper with 2.7 and interested in a warn 10s as well -- your solution is exactly what i was hoping for.Mine works just fine with a warn platinum zeon 10s
it’s all remote. I don’t do anything
