Anyone have any recommendations for a place to get window tints in NJ (Passaic)? I’ve called around and have been quoted between $400-$500 to have the front 2 windows tint matched and the rear windows UV Tinted (All ceramic). Not sure if this is I. The ball park or on the high end.
Thanks in advance!

That seems high. I paid $425 cash for front tint and clear bra. I live in Colorado. I would look around and see if anyone has cash discounts. Good luck.

What I’m curious is if there’s a brand, window tint series or shade percentage that best matches the factory rear privacy glass?

I had my front windows tinted to match the rear windows at CT Window Film & Tinting. That's @Dubsesd shop. He did a great job, and it was $100 to match the rear. I did nothing extra to the rear windows.. https://ctwindowfilm.com/book-now/
I know you're asking for a place near Passaic. He's in Stratford which is about 1.5 hours away.

I have XPEL Prime XR Plus @ 20%. I did the factory tinted back windows as well, just to have it all ceramic protected. It still matches from a distance, darkness wise. As you get closer you can notice that you can actually see through the front, but the back is hard as hell to peak through, no matter how bright it is outside. Mine was $515, before a very generous discount by the owner. If anyone is in southern Louisiana, hit me up, I have a business to send you to. Price is on par with any place you could go, but this tint works better than any tint I have ever had. They make appointments, but they started on time and finished about 5 minutes faster than the expected time it would take.

Paid $500 for ceramic tint on 2 side windows, rear cap sides, rear cap rear. (so 5 windows total)

I bought a base, which has untinted windows on the hard top.

I had the fronts tinted to 35% (max legal) and the rears at 20%. I think most cars look better with a step in darkness between the front and back. Plus I can't legally go 20% here anyway.

Carbon film is much cheaper, but ceramic rejects heat better.

Whatever brand of tint and dealer you chose, pick ceramic, you will will be glad you did. Also pick one with the best google reviews. But note, it will make driving at night more difficult with the reflection of interior lights.
