Remote start added to MT?

Anyone have an aftermarket remote start added to their manual transmission Bronco?
Curious how it went, if there were any complications or down side?

Nope.

Compustar is the closest thing I've heard of that might work, but you'd have to find a dealer willing to take it on.

Do you not leave it in gear when parked?
I was always taught to not fully trust the parking brake. Always left the 2 door I had in crawl or reverse.

Well, if you want Auto Start with an MT you need to trust the parking brake.

Although I haven’t heard of anything for the Bronco yet.

Yep.

I'd add line locks that activate without keyed-on power if you plan to add a remote start.

A guy on here allegedly made it work early on. I believe with forscan. He would not openly share how he did it for liability reasons.
