remote start trigger alarm

So I self installed the ford perimeter plus security system for two days but today when I remote start the vehicle the alarm got triggered. So I removed my vehicle from the app, delete the app and reinstall. It back to normal, but 8 hours later same thing happened again…

Have you tried unlocking and locking again then remote start? I bet it's not triggered that way.

What is the proper way to remote start when the all doors are locked?

1. Unlock -> lock-> 2x -> x2.
Or
2. Lock -> x2 -> x2.

I did no.2, that always trigger the alarm siren goes on.
