Those Sasquatch wheel/tire takeoffs are plentiful. I got a set for both of my Badlands non-Sasquatch Broncos. I like the look with std. flares. I don’t think it’ll hurt to go over this crash bar removal again because so many are still waiting for their ride.! First thing you’ll notice is the nuts are welded so you have to remove the bolts.!! Second thing you’ll notice is the front bars won’t slide out because they hit the end of the bumper.! (depending on the bumper style) So a little trick is to pop the plastic trim exposing the bumper bolts, remove the bumper bolts one at a time replacing each one with the much longer crash bar bolts that have the same thread size.! This allows the bumper to slide out just enough to remove crash bars without handling the bumper and maintains alignment.!

Is there a reason why Ford put these crash bars in? Is it literally because of the name and is so why doesn't Sasquatch have them?

It has been said that in the event of a front end crash the wheel/tire would be less likely to penetrate the passenger /driver footwell with these bars installed. The bigger Goodyear Sasquatch tires, I can only venture to guess, would be less likely to penetrate the firewall/footwell due to their width and the offset of the Sas wheel combined.! It could be that the non-Sas models with these bars helped to garner a higher collision rating by the institute that tests front end collisions.

I guess that'd make sense.

The welded on nuts stay, you just pull the bolts. Mine also hit the bumper coming out, I just reefed on it to get it to flex out of the way.

Those front crash bars also hit the Modular front bumper when trying to remove them, if anyone was wondering.

I'm hoping you’re the only one that thought my post suggested removing the welded nuts.! LOL.! I’ll readily admit that on my first Bronco, the first thing I did was to grab my impact and started hammering on the nuts while holding a box end on the bolt head.! Many others have done the same thing.! Didn't take long to figure it out.! LOL.!
