REPLACEMENT HARDTOP damaged during transport

Just got a call from Dealership that the replacement top was damaged in transit. They also told me that the would need to remove glass windows and move them to the new top??? Anyone? That sounds like additional leaking waiting to happen

So Ford sends just a top, not the windows? Geez....

I do believe some others have posted the same...windows from old top to the new top.

Ford doesn't ship the glass, they use the glass from your top. I had mine done a while ago no leaks.

I had the rear section replaced last spring. They swapped my existing glass to the new rear shell and you'd never know.

I'm onto my 4th top now (3rd replacement), and my dealer ordered new side windows everytime, but re-used my rear window. The side windows had to be dealer installed though, as they are not installed in the rear shell from the factory.

She is beautiful. We had a German Shepherd the same color. They said he was a "blue", but his coloring was similar to yours as he was almost solid dark grey. He weighed 120lbs. Sadly we lost him last summer. Your picture reminded me of him. Thanks for sharing.

Glass is replaced all the time. That’s not where I would worry about leaks!
