Replacing Your ________ With Which Bronco?

How about you? What are you replacing and with what?

I am replacing nothing with the Bronco. Every time a kid leaves, a vehicle goes with them. We've been down to just one vehicle for a while. The Bronco will get us back up to two before the last kid leaves sometime in the not-too-distant future.

I have been planning on getting a bronco for awhile now. Back in October, I was in an accident and my ram 1500 was total loss. I didn’t want to risk my dreams not coming true, so I leased a Chevy equinox (cheapest option knowing exactly what I would pay for two years) on the 30th, and did the grangtober deal the next day. Now, I just need to hold out on the bronco being scheduled for build until around July/2022 so that my lease doesn’t overlap

Will be trading in my 2017 4Runner Limited for a Wildtrak. I bought the 4Runner to have in the garage until Broncos made another appearance. Daily driver is a company owned 2015 Tundra. It will be gone in a year or two when I hang things up. The 4Runner is a great vehicle and only has 13,000 miles. Hate to get rid of it, but I’ve just about always had a Bronco and that’s just what I want. Actually, I would strongly consider a Raptor, but it won’t fit in my garage with all the other stuff in there. Wife prefers her Maxima so 4Runner is odd man out.

Replacing 2019 Ranger with the Bronco. My build week is June 28th. My son turns 16 on May 19th and will be getting the Ranger, so I will be rotating between my 1983 911SC and my 1983 FJ40 until my Bronco arrives. I would make my son drive the FJ40, but he doesn't know how to drive a stick yet. Even if he did, I think that the lack of power steering and present day safety features makes the FJ40 a no go for him right now.

I actually traded the Stang last week, and bought the wife a new 2020 F-150. So I'm driving her old 2007 Expedition until I can get my 2Door.

Which since none of my local dealers seem to actually want to convert my reservation to an order, will probably by sometime in 2023 (sigh)

2-Door Base with Stick shift. Because the main seller of the Bronco is it comes in a stick and is bigger than a Mustang. Otherwise I could just buy another Mustang. Wish Ford would listen to me and build a GT Ranchero on the Mustang frame. That would rock.

Replacing my 2001 corvette with a 2 dr Badlands. I'm getting old and can't get in and out of the corvette like I used to. And the corvette is very limited in where it can go. I wanted a vehicle that can go anywhere , and do it topless. So I ordered a Bronco.
