Definitely better body colored with the painted flares. Your Bronco looks good with the aluminum rims and white letter tires.

Thanks! I had a vision of how I wanted it to look before I ever even ordered it.

Checking in a month later...

We completed the job today. My wife (who is not interested in vehicles) helped with the decisions and the installation. She has definitely taken an interest in this Bronco project! In fact, she has been quite adamant about what stays stock and what gets changed, or added.

Our preference was either the Air Designs pre-fab molding with matching body colour paint similar to @ChrisB351 , or the Xpel Armor, similar to @broadicustomworks .

Given the Xpel Armor is inexpensive by the foot, I ordered some to check it out. Ultimately we chose to go with that product as we liked the quality and also the colour contrast to the Velocity Blue.

The install went well but only because I had a helping hand. It is essential to plan it out with all the creases, curves and wrap arounds. The household hair dryer is your best friend for correcting any bubbles or creases. We probably spent 1 hour planning and cutting, 2 hours on the first side, and then 1 hour on the second side.

Thanks to everyone for all your input and getting me going!
Cheers.

Turned out great. Looks like it should protect well and being xpel be easily removed later. Do something with the lower part now.

Further to my post last night, I forgot to mention the LineX guy suggested doing black instead of white. Any feedback from you fine folks on black vs. white?

...............................................

I see this post is from awhile back and since then you have changed you plan (went with sliders) but I had to answer this question you had for future reference.

I would not recommend using white. It will "yellow" over time. I used to work at a Line-X shop. Sprayed a few things white even after the manager tried to explain it, the customers still wanted it done. Here we are a few years later and when I see the trucks they have a yellow tint to them. I would not recommend using white.

The Xpel Armor looks good and should provide good protection. I put regular vinyl on my rockers... not going to be as protective as the Xpel, but it helps some.
