I believe those are the registration brackets for the MIC top. So maybe the soft top build exclude it. Not sure.

Those are there if you are prep package (9/1/21) forward. I had to add them since I was prior to that date in order to install the hard top.

I originally ordered a hard top but switched. Yeah mine was finished being built in Sept and I have the prep kit.

To be clear, I ordered both sets when we did mine because we didn't know what the difference was. None of us were able to tell the difference. Metal thickness, bends, hole sizes were the same so I used the -Bs on mine that was built in Aug '21 and have no issues.
