Hi. There is much debate on this forum about this... most point to GVWR (gross vehicle weight restrictions) from the factory... others are wondering if it’s the rear suspension not being able to take all the potential weight... nobody really has the definitive answer... It’s not just SAS... a non-SAS badlands 4 door with 2.7 also causes this issue. Ford says some accessories not compatible with certain tires (315’s)... but doesn’t address this specific issue. Tons more from the forum with way more technical info than I can speak to...
