I put a leveling kit (1.5" spacer) on my 2016 F150 that has adaptive cruise and never had to recalibrate it. Use it every day without issue.

However, I was researching the Ranger Ford Performance lifts to get an idea of what will be offered for the Bronco and reading through the install manual it requiries the adaptive cruise sensor to be leveled/adjusted and then recalibrated. This could just be a cya by Ford.

As far as disabling the nanny system (crash alert & evasive steering), it can be turned off or sensitivity can be adjusted between low, med, high. Adaptive cruise can be turned off and switched to normal cruise control. Settings can be saved to MyKey for different drivers and the vehicle remembers the last settings as well.
