Sayonara! Sold my Bronco and bought a Crosstrek.

What type of truck did you get? Going from a full size SUV to a Bronco definitely is a step down in terms of storage/utility in terms of what most use the SUV for.

I'll admit, if I only had one vehicle (the thought gives me terrible anxiety) the Bronco wouldn't exactly fit my needs. Including the Bronco I have 5 vehicles that all tickle my fancy in different ways and serve different purposes. Now I do still daily drive all of them. My Sasquatch Bronco is the fuel saver of all of them by a long shot! Everything else is a V8 or V10 in the driveway.

V10? Colour me intrigued. Audi R8?

Nah, something much more useful. 2002 Ford Excursion 4x4 6.8L V10 with the license plate "8 MPG" . I've had 3 of them and this one is going to the grave with me.

The driveway is a very versatile group.

i love taking the roof off but man that highway noise as 80-85 is unbearable. We took it on a 3000 mile road trip for some off roading and camping. My wife and I had to always use noise canceling headphones the entire trip.

Never heard of this vehicle and had to look it up. I had a Subaru once, a long time ago. It was the most expensive car I've ever driven. Repair costs were very high for that vehicle. I hope the new ones are better than the old ones.

I really think Ford should make a fixed top/doors Bronco. Would resolve many peoples complaints of sound and even some practicality and you'd prob have 50%+ of future buyers or more picking that option. With something like a moonroof or panoramic sunroof and even lift gate I think this would take most folks in this direction...

Okay, I loathe most Subarus, but i have a serious soft spot for lifted Crosstreks. I'd drive one.

I wish people would quit saying "car" when talking about the Bronco. It's not a car. And as far as gas mileage goes like I've pointed out many times it's most likely your driving that's the problem. There are Broncos out there getting 20+ real world mpg.

Good luck Op! Not a crosstrek, but Ive had a Subaru in the garage since 2007. The STi has now been discontinued but is a really analog car, manual, hydraulic steering, AWD with locking diffs. There aren’t any cars like that anymore. Insane resale value And super reliable. Great cars an A lot of fun with some mods. My 2011 made like 400 torque to the wheels On E85.

I’ve driven the Crosstrek as a loaner when STi in shop (not often) and it’s great daily driver, but I wouldn’t trade my Bronco for one.
