Four Wheel Camper, best of both worlds, lightweight pop up camper. I've got one on my Super Duty and they're very nice. I wouldn't put anything like that on a Bronco with almost no payload though, haha!

Yeah I think once I sell my f150 I’ll look into building a small off-road trailer so I can unhitch easily for day trips without having to break down camp. That’s the worst part of rooftop tents and shell campers on trucks, if you’re staying in one place for more than a night you have to pack everything up or not drive anywhere. Slide ins you could leave somewhere but still easier said than done (maybe not though never had one) Trailer will also help me manage cargo for 2-door on camping trips and give me a place to lock my doors up for the day. At least these are all reasons for me to validate building trailer while I wait for my bronco...
