Technically Ford got you to pay $100, and it's refundable. You willingly gave your dealer the rest as an insurance of sorts against you doing what you're trying to do...backing out of your order.

Now you think they owe you five thousand dollars for a car they don't have in the hopes they will be able to sell it at some point in the future for more money. Not even a particularly rare car.

Yeah, totally not a rare car. Thats why there are $20k markups.

OP .. tell your dealer they can have your bronco reservation but you want a F150 Raptor at invoice. Difference from Sticker to Invoice for a F150 Raptor is about 5K.

10k credit would be pretty tempting to me.

He said he would take that offer on a 22 F150 raptor but they wouldnt do it. They said any regular F150.

Just keep the order, forget about it, and when it comes in, then make a deal to abandon it. More likely to get a deal if you have the option to get it at MSRP and it has come in.

4Dr BL, Hardtop, Tow, High package. Cactus Gray. He indicated they make the offer to everyone and I don't doubt it. Nothing in writing just verbal at time of pickup.
