What is that? Wondering if I could use something like that for rock chips.
Ford accessories rocker guards. Stick on with double side tape. Comes in black but I had them painted. Also good for covering the pinch welds underneath.

Great thread. My beauty rings are quite beautiful! A combination of Vermont Class IV "roads", and New Hampshires Class VI "roads."

Not a lot for me…
Was doing high speed runs for my suspension review and under steered off the road… broke my RC bumper, it pushed into my intercooler, bent my frame horns, broke a shroud, my RC hidden winch mount sheared and bent into my fenders. Fenders popped out from that. Fixed it up, replaced everything. Good as new now except a cracked fender.

Then I hit the Rubicon and scraped every surface of my wheels, under armor, rear track bar and everything else. Just have a few pics though.

@popo_patty

Hope you don't mind me adding a few photos of your rig that I got from Nate. Thanks for sharing.

  1. Increased fuel mileage by reducing some of that paint weight on the bottom of the rig. In Phoenix, rust is not a concern!
  2. My 'beauty rings' are now more 'ugly rings'. Was considering powder coating them when I took delivery in Feb '22, but by the end of March, had built up a nice collection of rock rash.
  3. Some desert pin-striping
  4. And the biggest one of all, but not even off road - a pony wall jumped out in front of me in a parking lot in Oregon this summer (I have a history of run-ins with pony walls). Thankfully, I had bought my large tin snips in the tool bag with me, so some 'adjustment' was needed to quash the rubbing. Been wanting to put an ADD rock-fighter on since new, but my house keeps eating my Bronco funds!

Got it trying to avoid more pin strips, tire kicked a branch up into the door.

I did this before I put spacers on and now new wheels.

Then I launched the passenger side one. I am holding out for the new CF versions or might just wrap these instead of screwing up the PPF on them.
