Finally received some snow overnight that we can play in....this thing is a beast. Those of you at the beach and in the desert don't know what you're missing.
First trip up Little Cottonwood canyon. The crawl gear was great since traffic was moving so slow. You know what would have been better, an automatic transmission DOH!
I was a little worried, I've been using dedicated snow tire on my subaru for the last 15 or so years but the KO2's did pretty well.
Played with 2wd, 4A, 4H. 2wd sucked (well except for donuts), I was surprised at how different 4A and 4h were. There's a reason slippery mode is 4h ; ) I was expecting the bronco to be worse in snow than my subaru but in 4h it was better. Not as much room for my skis though....
I will have to say the wipers suck, I've got the mystically slow and stop version, plus they iced up pretty quickly and the snow wasn't even that bad. Luckily I have long arms and could reach out and snap the wiper to knock off the ice.
Out playing in the snow today. Even got to drag a stuck Tacoma out of the woods. 37 MT’s aired down to 8 psi, and all diffs locked up really work well. Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of me pulling the Tacoma out.
