How are these Wildpeaks compared to Goodyears in regard to road noise?Falken Wildpeak AT3W 315/70R17.
I only ran the Goodyears for a week and drove a mixture of highway and city roads, but I would say the Wildpeaks ride quieter, softer and smoother. At highway speeds the road noise is better for sure and it's where you notice the biggest difference. I spent a year trying to decide between mainly Toyos, Wildpeaks, KO2 and went with these mainly for how they run in wet, dry on road conditions. How are these Wildpeaks compared to Goodyears in regard to road noise?
I'm so torn on whether to get these wheels, or powder coat my stock badlands wheels in gloss black. I feel like if I were to powder coat the stock wheels they'd look pretty damn similar with more of an "OEM" feel for about half the price. I wish I could find a pic of someone that did it, though.RTR Tech 6 Evo 17x9 0 offset

The Toyo tires are surprisingly quiet and smooth. I have them at 38 psi.
That is exactly what is needed to defeat the deer out here.
