I was thinking when I get new wheels. would love to see some photos. What looks better?

1.Keeping the stock 35" tires and new wheels

or

2.Getting now wheels and going up to 37" tires.

Not really looking to take a MPG hit.

Stock wheel tire combo is 87.5lbs.

If I went 37's on 17's it would be 104lbs. or 18's on 37's would be 102lbs.

I doubt that’s possible

Oh, it's been done. Mainly on a Squatch, BL, WT, FE. It also helps to clear away the crash bar mounts a bit but for the most part, yeah, 37's fit.

Also depends on what you consider by "fitting". Driving to the mall fitment, or taking on the Rubicon with the sway bar disconnected fitment. ;)

Just for an example here is a Squatch with 37's right off the trailer.

Yes, a Squatch, etc. is lifted, but it is only about 1.25 inches.

In order…..
37s no lift
37s no lift fiberglass fenders
37s 1-3/8” lift fiberglass fenders
Mpgs have dropped from 19.3 stock to 18.3 as it sits now.

Looks killer!!!!! (y)(y)

Can't wait till Ford builds my 2DR Squatch so I can get some 5" ADV fenders and paint it AMB, then fit up some 37's. 😁

Thanks. I’m definitely beyond ready to get some paint on the fenders but got distracted building a rear bumper that fits the build better than the goofy stock one. It has been time consuming.

Very true. Bumper selection with the ADV fenders is critical to making it "look right".

In the front I'm going with the MIshimoto high mount intercooler for a better winch placement which makes the bumper choice even slimmer.

great job. Love the fenders👍 I’m not looking to go to crazy with this 2023 wildtrak build. It’s going to be my daily driver and off road fun.
I may do wheels, audio, lighting and some paint on the unpainted pieces.

I went a bit crazy on my last build about eight months ago😂 which is now my daily driver. Which I’ll turn into my occasional driver with adding the wildtrak.

Sasquatch models yes, I can definitely see that being done.....as it has been done like you noted. I thought he was referencing a more base model with no lift. I didn't even notice he has a BL. And you're right, it depends on what you consider "fitting" lol. That definition will change from person to person.

I was able to come up with something much tighter….I haven’t even got to thinking about the front yet. I have a feeling it’s gonna be tricky. Especially adding a winch.
