I would really love to have my side mirrors dim at night like the rear view mirror does. Is there such a thing? I get tired of being assaulted by bright lights from cars behind me at night. Has anyone in 6g land found a way to address this other than readjusting your seating position?

I’ve never seen that.

Friendly suggestion: Adjust the mirror out so when sitting in your normal position you’re not getting blazed. SOP.

I don’t have my bronco yet so my comment above is merely based on my age not hands on with said vehicle. But….I can only assume the side mirrors are ā€œnormalā€.

My ā€˜14 Subaru FXT had dimming mirrors. Loved them!

Unfortunately the Auto dimmers aren't a bronco thing… but your aren’t completely SOL.

Check out @Suma Performance Mirrors!

After having Base/Non-BLIS mirrors with the convex blind spot corner mirror, I found myself missing the FOV it offered compared to the BLIS mirrors.

I swapped to the Suma BLIS+Defrost+Antiglare. They have a slightly more aggressive R value (Convexness/Radius) compared to the flat OEM Mirrors! Would buy these again. The blue takes a week to get used to, but we’ll worth it for night drives… all drives!

As far as install goes, you need a third hand to release the BLIS LED harness connector on the back of the mirror itself… re route the defrost plugs, bend/crimp the female blade connector to make it a snug fit on the Suma male blades and you are good to go. Maybe 5 minutes if you know what you are doing, 15 tops for a first timer

Idk. Been driving for 34 yrs and my mirrors are adjusted so that headlights behind me literally are not seen unless I put my head in the mirror. You stated ā€œnormal positionā€. If your normal position has you eyes getting blazed by headlights then you are not adjustingyour mirrors correctly. Scratching my head on this one. Not flaming you at all on this but I really dont understand. Headlights in your seated normal position should never be any kind of annoyance. I have very sensitive eyes to light especially since hitting 50 yrsold but not from mirrors. Its through windshield that bothers me at night only

Since this is a "wish list," I'd love to have an exterior mirror with power folding arms. Had them on my top-of-the-line Toyota Sienna. A great convenience, especially when you're parked on a narrow street.

And maybe an extendable arm for when you're trailering.

My base doesn’t have any aux switches. Will installing the mirror with BLIS be an issue in terms of wiring?
The BLIS on SUMA is compatible with the OEM BLIS, plug and play. Your car mus have the BLIS feature. Hope this helps.

My wires came out of the BLIS harness while removing the window. I tried putting the wires back in but they don't seem to be connecting. Do you have any suggestions?

Bend them slightly and add dielectric grease.
