Thank you very much. That will probably be my first task when I hopefully take delivery this summer (scheduled build week of May 30)I bought the 18$ flap from advanced auto. It had the same texture as the flares. I used 5 metal screws with small washers, the fifth screw was short. 4 into the felt and into the wheel well metal, the small one into the flare. I carefully aligned it all up with a friend guiding me while I screwed it down to get the look I wanted then hit the screw and washer heads with a blast of black paint. Then repeat for opposite side. Looks how I wanted, prevents 98% of chips and was cheap. I probably could have slid the flap lower and prevented 100% of chips but I wanted it to follow the contour of the flare.
