Side View Mirror “Puddle” Lamps

If that photo is edited to enhance the brightness of the puddle lights, it's a masterful job. (To enhance one light being cast without screwing up the rest...)

That said, there do appear to be other lights high above illuminating the area, so that almost certainly contributes to how bright the puddle light appears.

The sky is still blue, so not even dark yet.

These pictures were definitely taken with some HDR goin on... but the others also show a good contrast in the the light, including shadow lines... from the looks of it these puddle lights will be highly effective.

The fact that the puddle light is still distinctly visible despite other lights in the area makes me think that it puts out a good amount of light. If it were dim, it would have just gotten washed out by the other lights.

I think what is shined on the ground is light. Bronco buyers don't need cartoons projected on the ground.

Maybe it could shine B6G?

Mirror lighting should be pretty similar to the F150, so I just took some pics of my 2019 work truck. I tried to adjust the brightness of these photos to match my eye as closely as I could. Color temperature is a bit off but overall brightness is about right. Maybe it'll help a few folks out who aren't sure what does what.

Spotlights are controlled individually with switches and auto shut off at speeds over 6 or 8 mph. They call them spotlights but they are actually wide angle flood lights.

Puddle lights both turn on when you unlock the vehicle or open a door. They also both turn on if you switch on the rear cargo light.

Both are very useful and nice to have.

Definitely just normal - I had an OBX before trading to a Wildtrak and both had them - no design. Just a light to illuminate a bit of area

yeah, have had mine for a bit and know they’re standard lights. Kind of surprised no one has made a lens yet to focus a projection. Oh well.
