I've been wanting this since day one. I have a kitchen setup with a jet fuel fuel burner that takes up the tailgate table, so perfect to have for cooking. I do astrophotography/landscape/drone photography, so great to have extra space out the back. I lose a little vertical space but have more space organized underneath just for emergency gear. Took me about an hour, only needed a 10 & 13mm rachet.
Pull these latches from the front and try not to break rear tabs.
Remove the floor
Easily pops off
Use the included covers over the holes
I guess just shove this in there?
See that bolt with the wide washer? That's the wrong one. Use the 2 narrower headed bolts here so you don't have to take it apart and redo it.
Using the correct bolt, screw down the tailgate here.
Push the bolt through the cover. Align before fully tightening all bolts.
Top just pops into place. Slideout is smooth and clears table.
Success
I keep a bungie here to hold the lid to my fridge. Perfect for this.
No clearance issues with the jcr off-road fold down table, flush with rear seats, and shiny. Just a reminder that hitting your hand when it's cold out hurts 8000x more.
