Good advertisement for thieves, “power tools “🤣
Maybe its a trap
Power tools tote was mostly hot dog buns and Kool aid lol. I use a camping cube by ezee-up, love it. I can set it up almost by myself. My wife usually helps hold the pop up then I do everything else. Mine is going on 4 years with 30+ days of use, no broken zippers or holes.

@Felix808 That is 4 tents, 4 days of food for 12 people and anything else that got Amazoned to my house. Literally they show up, camp and go home. Was supposed to have another family of 4 but they got scared of the drive.

More like the labor, the cook and the cleanup crew. Kids had a blast! Looking at planning another weekend trip to a more remote location. The vault toilets overflowed so they all learned how to shit in a bucket. Kids faired better than the adults.

When your dog thinks everything that comes to the door is a Bark Box. Came with some damage, @DV8offroad definitely happened prior to packaging. I am most likely going to end up welding that seam so no big deal to me.

Stuck my stripped down harbor freight winch in. Pretty impressed with how well it fit. Makes me think I need to run a synthetic winch line so I can use a smooth fairlead to clean up the look. The roller setup sticks out an extra 3-4" and is ugly like the winch.

Work from home lunch break! I can not center the winch in the bumper, so its slightly offset. I will be able to cut a hole to access the clutch release. Still need to gusset and brace the thing enough to actually use the winch.

I plan to and how I beef up the mount/bumper tie in. Your video was a determining factor in the purchase of your product. I appreciate showing what happened and especially the deformed mounts so I have an idea of how to brace them.

Looks like I can modify the bumper and not have to do a bunch of structural changes to the frame mounts.

And what I need to plate on the inner frame section frame.

If you want to beef up those frame horns, might take a look at this:
https://lobooffroad.com/product/crash-bar-erase-brace-kit-bronco/

TrickyDick was making a kit to beef up that area too:
https://td-distributing.myshopify.c...rts-21-23-bronco-frame-horn-reinforcement-kit

I plan on doing the same just to make sure my bumper stays solid.

@Tex I decided to tie into the intercooler mounts. Kind of stealing some the concept from the rough country hidden winch mounting points. Just got enough steel yesterday to finish up boxing the tie in and adding rear winch support.

Hope to finish up this weekend, but I definitely have 10-12 hours of work left. Got to rewire everything as I am doing a control box relocation, bracket for that and new plug ends for the remote.

Turned out GREAT !!!! Love the "steathy" look. I'm not a fan of the "bolt the winch in the front of the bumper" look. Looks better this way, plus it is between the frame rails. Nice job Nate. 😁

@BAUS67 it's almost sad how much room is available to stuff a winch in. You literally need to trim 2 tabs and bam your golden.

If I had to do it over I would have flipped the winch to inverted top mount. This would allow for more clearance and would have made for an easier install of the bumper.

The bumper turned out nice. Great to see all the stuff you are doing.

curious why you are adding preload to your front springs? Cuz you’re removing the sway bar? Or the bumper weight?you have those hitachi springs that are pretty soft. Do you still have some small spacers on the front? Are they staying on or coming off?

The leveling kit is staying on and adding some preload to help with the trail manners. I find that the front compresses to much coming dropping off 12" rocks. I am get a nice whack on the sliders when I use to be stiff enough to avoid the contact. Going only to be worse with the added front weight.

Currently really like the setup for fire road conditions. I thought I was dialed in last time but ever time I go out I find that I liked this trait or that effect more. The extra lift will help with clearance. I actually wheel with the intent of lifting a tire so no real loss.
