Did you make this or buy it? where from?
Talons Garage...

I've done lots of re-enforcement like this on TJ and JKU Skids (My Wife is particularly good at bending stuff in her JKU).

Found the best thing to be 1/4" inch thick 2 inch Angle iron laid with the point up, then welded along both edges in about 4 inch stretches with a 2 inch weld between stretches...

I don't have an example in the shop right now or I'd take a picture for you...
I really thought about angle iron, might end up going that direction. I do buy my steel out the scrap pile lol.

May 2026 changes are storage and lowered the Bronco down with 200lb Eibach rear springs. Rides is so much better with the front cranked back down to normal height.

Annual Memorial day trip report, didn't make the final destination due to multiple down trees. Ended up dispersion camping half way.

Nice 80F high during the first day, lots of mosquitoes and cold 40F low. Next day was a wonderful 70F but got windy towards the evening. By 6pm I was adding tie down ropes to the tent and packing up for a storm. Brutal night of wind and some occasional snow/hail. Very ruff night, portable heater ran on high to keep the inside of the tent warm enough for the dogs.
