i noticed this too

what the hell!!!! How does this make sense? No roof racks means I would not be able to carry a standard camping load (wife & kids & gear) or kayaks. What causes this limitation?
Is the best solution Badlands, then? I was planning BD.

weird this to set me off, but here we are.
Adding the 2.7 on Badlands made me remove the roof racks. Maybe it will go sooooo fast they can't allow anything on the roof.

We've got onboard Nav in my wife's MB GLC, and I really prefer it over Google Maps (which I really like). Google Maps are probably more current with any recent construction and easier to search, but the actual navigation is better with the onboard system. It's got a better system for letting you know what lane to be in for city and highway driving, much better updated routes based on traffic.
Of course, not sure how good Ford's system is.

Also wondering how much these various 'connected' or on-board nav options (what's the difference) vary when it comes to the off-road trail maps.
The nav in my current vehicles is fine, and I prefer using it over Google Maps because having the nav map up on the main display is much better than having it "stuck" in the phone. For the price of nav, though, I think I'm going to rely on Google maps via Android Auto since it's supported through Sync 4.

edit: I see you're in Sacramento, which reminds me of a massive nav failure I had in my 2012 Odyssey. Coming on 80 from Reno and transitioning through to 99 south the nav system completely screwed up freeway names and correct lane assignments. That was fun, but luckily I knew the area from having lived there many years before and wasn't led astray.

That is messed up... The 2dr option doesn't care what engine you have, but as soon as you go 4dr with the 2.7l it makes you remove the rails and the hard top...? WTH?

I compared the difference in selecting the 4cyl and the manual and the V-6 and the auto and it's just the $$ of the V-6 ($1895) Nice surprise for sure since I was worried it was going to be a dual hit for the 10spd too...!

here's hoping that's not another error
