I’ve searched online with little success, does anyone know what the decibel level is inside a soft top bronco at 60+ mph?

A Bronco Nation guy said about 60 db, but I find that hard to believe. Of course, he was testing on an iPhone. Check out their YouTube channel....not sure which video it was, but I'm pretty sure it was in the spring.

I saw 60 decibels at 45 mph. 60 decibels at 60 mph does not seem accurate with a soft top. For reference high end sedans are approx 65 decibels at 70 mph.

This is nearly half the deciable of the cicada from 50cm apart for relativity.

The ~68 db was for the hard top with sound deadening headliner. We don't know what the soft top is.... I doubt it's below 80

I’d bet you it’s in the 75-80db range. My Miata with a hardtop is 75db all day long. Add beefier tires and aero like a brick you will come across noise.

The difference is very little with Wrangler...1db between the two at 70 mph. Until we get real numbers, that puts you in the ballpark.

If it's anything like the JL Wrangler, I wouldn't make business calls on Bluetooth in there. Or personal calls on Bluetooth.

My wife hated the sound of calls made from my 2016 Willy Wheeler, and I had a client ask me, "What is going on? Are you running a leaf blower?"
