I searched, did not find, how are people storing their soft tops (not the windows, I’m asking about the top and frame)

Flat? On a shelf or on the garage floor?
On a rack?
trying to think out the best way for storing it for a week or two at a time during the summer, wanted to get some ideas.

I was wondering the same thing. I put mine on top of two crates to keep them off the ground, but I have to think there is a better solution out there.

I'm thinking about the same thing. Where and how do I store the soft top over the winter months so the mice don't nest in it and it gets all chewed up and ruined )-;

Last time flat. Next time I’m going to try bike hooks and hanging it from a board that’s across the rafters of my shed. I think if I lightly secure it with a ratchet strap type tie down so it doesn’t unfold while hung up it should work out ok.

I hung a board from the garage ceiling with that metal that they hanf garage door tracks with. The rear sits on that and the front of it hangs by chains through two of the holes at the very ends of the metal parts. it seems to work as I can get the heavy part on the board and then raise one side then the other on the longer chains. When you do it yourself you need to be resourceful right.

I got the GarageSmart hoist system. It’s designed for a hard top, but I figure with a few adjustments it’ll work with the soft top as well.

Took my soft top off last month and stored it in my basement. Rolling with the mesh top until late fall.

I purchased 3 hangers from Home Depot and put them on a garage wall. Each hanger is rated for 50 lbs. I’m not sure what it weighs but I’d guess over 100 lbs. it was awkward lifting it by myself up that high.

Did you strap the front/top section from opening? That thing is awkward beast for one person.

I have some eyebolts in the ceiling of my garage that are leftover from my homemade Jeep hardtop storage system. Used those and some ratchet straps to hang the soft top. It works for now but is in need of some improvements as the soft top is not very balanced.

No, I didn't strap anything. I thought about it but it only opens a few inches when hanging from the hangars.
