My tension cables have come out of the screw mounts.
Where can i buy replacement tension cables for the trektop soft top ?
Both came right out of the mounts.
I can’t find replacements anywhere.
Did you ever find those replacement mounts? My cable came out too.

Thanks for getting back to me, that's not the cable that broke on mine tho. I think mine is 806B. Ford wants to replace the whole soft top and take a couple months on my dime to do so. Nope!

Is that the 806B? I'm starting to think this is a faulty part in the build. Should be recalled tbh. The service guy let slip that taking the top down and up wears the cable down. Its only 2 years old, cable should go 10k opens and closes at least.

Yes, the diagram uses partial base numbers for part callout.

Well I have the part, but I think I might be able to repair it. The bead at the spring end broke in half. Def faulty, but I can probably fix it. Thanks for the help, I'll be reporting this to NHTSA.

Be careful putting it on or taking off, first one we did the tech got his hand opened up. No stitches but it was deep and the cable doesn't have any type of protective coating. Wear gloves.

Thanks for the heads up. If I can manage the repair I think it would be a bit safer.
