Well when I wear out the Bilsteins, this is probably the direction I will go. How long it will take to wear them out is anyone's guess, they still ride well.

Surprised you haven't with all the "leakers" popping up lately. 😁

I don't know what it is with my luck, but I tend to get the golden builds... Never happens with computer parts, but with cars, I tend to luck out.

@mpeugeot I will let you know how much better it is! Lets just say Boss4x4 had a set at Super Cell and at a price the cheapest person on earth wouldn't walk past.
I guess the broken bronco build is going more mainstream. Very fancy. 😂

Curious what you think about them after some trail abuse. Did they provide spring rate specs by chance?

@87-Z28 you saw the Stanley Tape Measure, 4wp discontinued the coilovers so hopefully another retailer will pick up Walker Coilovers.

I'm surprised they discontinued them. They were like the first ones out there.

I don’t know what you're talking about

Just the fronts (L&R) as far as I can tell.

Anyone else?

It was 96 today. It will get hotter and I imagine this may get worse.

No actual wet film or any drips but not alot of fluid there to begin with and the exit of some would suggest air has now taken its place and i believe that means it may eventually foam the oil and ruin them(?)

@BAUS67 4wp was sold earlier this year to Jiffy Lube. Then Walker Evans was bought by Can-am. It's turbulent times lol.

You're right it is turbulent. I was part of a large corp like that and they decided to "trim the fat" after 23 years. Now I get to start over, at 55. :(

That sucks. I ended up resetting several times over my life, I think the longest I was with any single "employer" was 16 years, and that was the US Navy.

Evening gents. I enjoy reading these suspension deep dives, and while I'm not an engineer, it's interesting to me, and I'm curious about my own rig's setup, so I picked up an angle gauge to check my cv's at full droop. Couple photos for you guys. Maybe it helps having some real world measurements, and possibly an example of what not to do, lol.

Non Squatch Badlands with 1.5" top hat spacers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but adding 1.5" spacers increases total front shock length to 24.5", and I believe that's on par with some of the aftermarket front shock lengths. So, do Broncos equipped with those shocks see the same or similar CV angles?

Thanks for pics and measurements. Yes indeed a 1.5” spacer lift should be similar to the icon and kings wrt extended length, close to 24.5”. The charts indeed show expected CV angles of just over 30 degrees at full drop. Great data point. Sure seems to be pushing the design limits for the stock CVS.

So if I am reading that correctly, Ford specs 20* maximum for CV angles?
