Good evening Friends! Looking for some help. Im having a hard time explaining what is going on with my 2024 Braptor but I’ll do my best and appreciate any help. First off I do understand it is a new trucky SUV (lol) and it has a warranty. I’m trying to find out if anyone else has had this so I can point them in the right direction, or if this is something normal. I currently have 6k miles on it and I have taken it off-road 2x.
The issue is that every time I come to a complete stop, let off the brake I feel as if there is something loose or a part is shifting. It almost feels as if a lug nut is loose or a loose brake caliper and it is shifting on acceleration! I did take it to the stealership and asked them to look at the brakes and they told me everything looked good. I dont remember feeling this when I had it brand new. Is this normal with this rig involving the electric e-brake? Iv played underneath and looked at the shock bolts, trailing arms ect to see if there was any halo ing on bolts from movement but I can’t find anything. I do seem to feel it in the front and rear. Only other thing is maybe the glide pins on the brake calipers? It almost feels as if some of the pads are sticking to the rotor. I have tried pressure washing, and using brake cleaner and it doesn’t help. I greatly appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advance, you all have been awesome in the past!

Check bolts on suspension items, bolts on the drive shafts, and bolts on the FDU mounts for tightness and cracking

Body bolts may not be a bad thing to check too

Clunking sound/feeling in the front when coming to a stop and/or starting after a stop is a fairly common problem at least in two doors, and there’s no fix that I’m aware of. Had my drive shaft replaced a few years ago and the issue persists.

Ok sweet, its the slip yoke! Seems like it just needs to be greased. Am I wrong? Not sure why people have it replaced. Do you all think I can greese the front and rear with them mostly extended and be good?

The slip joint is in the middle of the shaft covered by a boot and clamps that are not replaceable/serviceable by Ford.

You can take it apart and grease it probably, but you’ll have to source some new clamps.
People usually replace it because it’s under warranty, so why deal with greasing it 🤷‍♂️

Dang! Ok. I was hoping it was similar to F-150s. This makes total since! Thank you everyone! Also what do you all recommend on the best way to search this forum for specific issues. Not so good at it. Maybe someone can post a recent best way to search simplified for dummies on the welcome to the page thing. I don’t know. Would be helpful for dummies like me lol. You all are amazing on here thank you!

It's typically a regular maintenance item, but how regular depends on the make/model. Mine does the same, but been too lazy to have it addressed. Many just choose to live with it.

Best way is to do a Google search. If it’s on this site, it’ll show up there.

Yeah the search function isn't the best on here. Like @HeliPilot mentioned, if you google it something it usually will give you a better result.
