My passenger side speaker, at times, develops a sort of squeak. It’s similar to parts rubbing together, however, I can confirm it is coming directly from the speaker at certain points in music.

I have no idea what to think. Any audio gurus offer some thoughts?

thanks.

With the music off, you don't ever hear the squeak?

Correct.

no squeak when speakers off. Squeak will also present in music while parked. Definitely emitting from speaker at times. It is also not all the time, maybe tone dependent.

it’s odd

I would say it is a loose connection or loose mounting of the speaker, Best guess anyway. I replaced all 6 speakers in my Bronco with replacement speakers from Crutchfield. When i did the swap i did notice the right side dash speaker was hardly tightened down. I did not have any weird noises, just lousy factory speakers that reminded me of cars in the late 70's and early 80's! Made a huge sound difference and was a simple job with Crutchfields adapters and instructions. I did not have the B&O system, just the base stereo. The factory speakers are just full range and ultra cheap. I used two way speakers in all locations with bass blockers for the dash and rear speakers in the roll bar. Good luck with your identifying the noise.

Mounts are tight As can be.

These are aftermarket replacements, I’ve got the Infinity Reference in the front a rear.
