I don't drive in Sport mode very often, but I do like it. I noticed driving around today and running errands, that it seemed to stay in Sport mode and wasn't asking me each time I started and stopped the engine if I wanted to stay in Sport mode. I have done extensive Forscan, including removing ASS. (Love that!) Is that why? Can someone verify this? It's a great feature, I'll check it out more tomorrow when I drive it. Only button I ever press is START/STOP. Radical. One off topic thing, who can get rid of door chime while in DRIVE? Like opening the door a crack to look at an obstacle on a trail. Thanks.

Is ASS automatic start stop? I thought it couldn't be turned off using forescan

I have done nothing to disable ASS or used forscan in any way and my bronco is staying in whichever mode (slippery, in my case) now.

First time I ever used a mode, it asked me when I turned the truck back on, not sure what changed.

You live in Hollywood, CA? Want to help me out with the forscan stuff when mine arrives? I'm in Los Feliz. Happy to meet you wherever!

That's what I mean, It doesn't ask anymore. Just START and go.

I know, my point was I did nothing to affect the behaviour, it just stopped asking on its own (nothing to do with forscan, etc)

Oh! Is it in 4H only, or actually Sport mode? Maybe there is a correlation?

As I said earlier, mine is staying in slippery mode, I have a Badlands and have never messed with forscan, so my Bronco does not have sport mode.

This is strange information...could the system be learning what the most used mode is?

Yeah, I'm hoping more chime in. I'm thinking it was after my ForScan removal of ASS. But that's a guess.

Wonder if Ford pushed an update after so many people complained about having to reselect it....

Did anyone else get a Sync update yesterday? I seem to get early ones. I'll have to check my version to see if there is a connection.
