Recently I had a new stereo installed (speakers, amp, subs) and yesterday I discovered a very strange audio feedback. This would happen only when the vehicle is off and under one of two conditions:

1) After I shut the door and about to walk away I could hear it
2) Right when I open the door after the vehicle was 'cold'

It's a surging noise and it does't last more than a few seconds. It also doesn't happen every time. I plan on taking it back to the audio shop tomorrow but I can't replicate in every time. Curious if anybody has any thoughts? Thanks!

Sounds like speakers oscillating. They install amps?

Yup, they installed a 1000.5 JL amp. What would cause the oscillating or what's a common fix? Trying to have a little more of an idea and educated discussion when I take the Bronco back in later today.

Sounds like an input/gain issue or ground issue. I know there were two specific ground options on my audio control line converter to help reduce noise. The system does wake up when you open a door and takes a minute or two to shut down when you close the door.

Thanks for the help. Couldn't get it to the shop yesterday but will today. That gives me something to go on.
