I don't know if it's me or the switch.
When I get out of my Bronco 10-15% of the time, the lights will stay on. And when I look, the lights are in the ON position. I almost always use Auto for the lights,
I don't know if I'm bumping it somehow(don't think i am) or if it's even possible for the switch to switch modes for its self.

I've ALWAYS had mine on Auto....until one overcast morning when the lights didn't come on, so switched them to ON for the first time. Later, on leaving the vehicle, I realized that I'd left them ON, and went back only to discover that they went to Auto on their own. Not unhappy, but huh?

There's been multiple people here who had the same problem and eventually realized they were in fact bumping the switch on the way out.

But there's also some folks who's Broncos have turned its lights on while sitting in the driveway with no one near it.

You need to have your headlight switch replaced. I had the same problem, and after having the switch replaced the problem has gone away. Mine was coming on 1 hour and 20 minutes after shutting off the engine and leaving the vehicle. It would turn on and then shut off after 10 minutes. Common enough problem that Ford re-engineered the switch. Several threads on this.

And no, it’s not because you are hitting it with your knee, it’s a real problem with the switch. I would really like those who keep saying we hit it with our knew explain how the lights turn on by themselves when no one has been in the vehicle for an hour and 20 minutes?

OP, show this to your dealer:

SSM 51166 2021-2022 Bronco - Headlamps Turn On By Themselves When Vehicle Is Off - DTC B1533

Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a condition of intermittent headlamp operation while the vehicle is OFF and have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1533 stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to the internal logic within the headlamp switch. To correct this condition, replace the headlamp switch (service base PN: 11654). Refer Workshop Manual, Section 417-01.

I had the same issue initially with mine. Moving the seat further back and extending the steering wheel position eliminated the problem.
