2023 BD Sasquatch - No mods - For the second time now right after a steady 69 mph highway cruise that lasted about 20 minutes, I'm getting an odor that (to me) smells like brake fluid. After a few ninutes it dissapates. No warning lights, no leaks in the driveway. Any suggestions?

have you looked around to see if there are signs of anything leaking anywhere or just going off your nose?

I’ve looked. Nothing in the engine bay, nothing in the driveway.

First, check the brake reservoir level. If it isn’t decreasing there isn’t a leak. If it is decreasing, inspect each caliper for a leak. Also check to see if a brake fluid leak could drip on the exhaust which would create the odor but burn off and not create a spot on the driveway. Good luck.

Does it happen no matter what route you drive? To rule out it is a smell NOT generated by your Bronco.

Route doesn’t matter. Should mention too 17k miles, never been off road.
Hmmm. Only 23 degrees here in upstate NY so no A/C. Driver’s seat heater on low, temperature on Hi and fan on 6.

I get a weird smell from the rear of my Bronco, but only in the winter, not sure if it's due to road salt or the exhaust or what.

Almost every newer vehicle I drive will at times have a coolant type smell, but not a single one ever has a sign of a leak or low level.
Personal cars, work trucks, other folks cars, etc etc.
I dunno ...
