Hi my order date was Oct 2021 with day 1 reservation. I’ve the big bend basic no tow package or mid package(mistake on my part). It is a 2dr with the hard top option as default. Ive added the side step, door stills, hood/front/trail armor..weekly updates). Waiting for summer to comeCongrats! I love the green
Just a quick question....What was your order date?
Mine was 3-10-21 and my reservation date was about 2 or 3 weeks after day one. No timeline, no build date, no VIN. Nothing. I am starting to get frustrated and my dealer can't really tell me much.
4dr, Sas, Lux, Mic, Towing, Iconic Silver
I know I could change to a soft top, drop Sasquatch package, etc and *maybe* improve my timelines but I kind of want it to be exactly what I want on the day it is delivered. I debated on the soft top but drove an acquaintance's the other day and thought it was a little chilly for the dead of winter so I really don't want to do that.
Any insight you could offer would be appreciated!
Here are more pictures - added few accessoriesodd request, can we get a pic with the doors off? curious to see the interior contrast to the EG exterior
i guess a door open but wide shot to show the contrast works too. beggars cant be choosers
thanks!
How do you like the sidesteps? I was thinking of ordering the Ford OEM sidesteps but didnt know how their quality was. Here are more pictures - added few accessories
Side step is not bad and looks good. You can install it yourself in less than 15mins.. Recommend getting the ford side armor to cover the unfinished areas above the steps. How do you like the sidesteps? I was thinking of ordering the Ford OEM sidesteps but didnt know how their quality was.
Where and how will you install the subs? This is essentially the build I settled on. I forwent the nudge bar and roof rack (because I will never have a roof on mine). Mine will be a 7spd manual. I also went with the sandstone - it reminds me a little of the green Wrangler Sahara TJ's back in the day which I always thought were classy. I have a set of the pictured F150 wheels w/ adaptors and 275 70 18 Firestone MT's, archetype racing side steps and gator back flaps. Will be getting a color matched Katzkin interior upon arrival, w/ heated seats. Also have (4) Fusion 4" speakers plus two kicker 8" powered subs for a sound sytem boost.
Tentative plan is to remove the front seats and mount underneath. Not sure yet if they’ll fit. If they won’t, I’ll just go on either side of the cargo area. Run a line level source from each kick panel to each powered sub (to maintain stereo). I’ll also be installing seat heaters at the same time. Since this post my order has been picked up but it was changed to a velocity blue BD.Where and how will you install the subs?
