They sound like the "Worst" Ford. Go down and negotiate if they want a purchase order, at least it would be in writing if you agree with the deal and its refundable then pay. If not then start looking to switch, I don't think they can cancel your reservation since they didn't make it.

At least they're communicating. Crazy how these other dealerships don't do or say anything.

I have not heard about dealer switching deadline changing and frankly don't see how it would happen once B&P goes live. Once the reservation is in Ford's system, and order bank goes live, we can convert the reservation into an order, like the Bronco Sport is done now. You would have no way of switching to another dealer at that point. Maybe you have the option to switch if the dealer doesn't process your order...that would be the only way.

I also heard B&P is scheduled anywhere from the 13th to the 25th...those were the dates I was told. And then we have six weeks to finalize all the orders, which would fall in the 40-50 day time frame we heard initially.

I still have not heard clarification on x-plan(other than I don't think there will be x-plan given the source it came down from).

I also heard there is going to be modular top issues in the first year(think none available). And Sasquatch could be severely limited on commodities as well(not good).

That's about all I've heard lately....carry on.

If any of this is remotely true Ford shit the bed in this...
Plain and simple.
As a company you roll out a new cool product and then sending out these types of rumors.
Modular top issues? Like what and how come this crap has not figured this all out.

If this company can’t figure out their shit they will be eating their own ass for dinner. They got a rig people are clamoring for but they can’t get out of their own damn way to make sure simple shit like BP websites are running, when to lock into a dealer, and now large piece parts like hard tops and Sasquatch packages...

Eventually people will not be blinded for their love of this ride and walk away...

I would not read too much into the whole Ford has this many reservations...

I highly doubt anything that comes from dealerships...
