You don't see too many Abyssinians these days. Neurotic breed full of mischief! How does yours do? Can you keep it off counters or does it just gravitate to the highest perch it can find in any situation?

A family member professionally breeds them and has produced a number of show winners.

Can't believe someone recognized our cat as an Abyssinian. We have two, a brother and sister, and had one prior to these for 14 years. We love the breed. Are they mischievous? Oh yes, but they keep us entertained. They are also people cats so we always have their company. We've never had much problem with them on counters, but agree they do seek out the high points for observation!
