What's next:

1) Standard to Capable & Steel bumper swap (In-Progress)

(Still awaiting front sensor retainers for Capable bumper. Rear needs non-SAS end caps and it'll be 100% installed) ~ finished late 2022

2) 2 Inch Suspension Lift (On Hold pending market options for coilover setups or SAS takeoffs) ~ Rough Country 2” Spacer Lift installed

3) ADV Modular Black UV Hardtop (hopefully I get it by January ) ~ cancelled

Indeed I am! The sunlight hits this paint and the metallic flake jumps almost exactly like the beskar steel from The Mandalorian. It’s that extra cherry on top with washing it.

How was the swap? I’ve found both but the rear has no sensor bezels.

The most tedious part of the process was obtaining the sensor retainers for each bumper, as no two Ford parts departments know what the Capable bumper is, or what these plastic retainers are. I also had to modify my retainers to fit by shaving down the sides to fit the slots of the bumper (even though both the website and the sales guy said they would fit).

The actual wiring harness swap over was easy, it just requires patience to route it in such a way that the wiring becomes semi-invisible (zip ties are your friend). From there, it’s just having an extra set of hands to bolt things up and not drop anything on your face in the process. One thing to note is the plastic bumpers have an additional bracket to bolt into that you’ll need to remove to get the steel bumpers to marry up 100%.
