THE my Bronco production build date has been DELAYED / MOVED BACK thread

People with VIN are complaining because we have summer plans and car might show up randomly at dealer while we are far away at vacation homes/out of country and dealer selling off the car to some random person because they ‘couldn’t reach me over the phone’.

If the dealer is going to do that, and some will, they will do it whether you are on vacation or not.

Not Ford’s fault. Do you think they are purposely creating these delays?

Relax, Life as we were used to is trying it’s best to get back to normal.

Soon you’ll be enjoying your new toy and you’ll forget all the delays. I’ve been through this with several vehicles in my lifetime and once you get your hands on the steering wheel all is forgotten, then you get to complain about problems with your vehicle!

I received the same email late last night. Opened it this morning like a kid at Christmas! Only to find it was another delay. Not sure why I thought it would have been the "Your Bronco is being Built" email. Second delay, this time from week of June 28 to July 5th.
Only posting to keep the information flowing. I've gotten more info here then from my dealer for certain and I want contribute.

I received an email from Ford yesterday that I did not expect. My original build week was that of June 28. Yesterday Ford moved my build date up by one week to that of June 21. My order is a very basic white OBX, 2.3, leather, MIC top.

Keep in mind, if yours is delayed 3 times, most everyone’s is delayed 3 times as well (we just don’t know it because we don’t have a build date yet). I’m guessing my build date email has been delayed 3 times, since I haven’t gotten one. Probably the email to tell me me my email is delayed too...

I love how accurate the Hot Wheels Bronco is, I just received mine and what do you know? No roof! There was a note from HotWheels executives that said they are having issues with their roof supplier and they will ship me a roof sometime in 2022 or perhaps 2023.

I got bumped back with the 2.7.

I wonder if that’s the key.

but you have OBX which “my dealer said” would be limited, AND leather...sounds like an awesome build tho
