THE my Bronco production build date MOVED UP thread!

My biggest question about build moves...not from plant shutdown but those from "tops" and "2door floor pan" type of things.

If these components are the cause of existing VIN holders delay. Who in the world of Enron built their algorithm to build when parts are available? Again....IF...parts are the reason existing builds with a VIN and non factory shutdown being moved. This should be a none issue if as Ford has said only builds that have parts are being pulled...

It is if those parts are being damaged in transit, like the floor pans!

Called the dealership out of curiosity due to this thread and I got bumped to 7/5 but they claim the ETA for delivery is 7/26 (?!). Not sure how true that is, but I'll take it for now.

I was in the same boat as OP until just a few minutes ago when I called Ford.

8/9/21 - May 28 change, no email

Mine got bumped a 4th time to 7/7, so at least for me, I think the damaged floor pans are the reason for the pushed build date on my 2 door.

so no one checked 2door floor pans....from before mid to late April for any QC for damage. Inventory that was supposed to be there at least 2mo ago for use in parts on hand for scheduling these first wave of orders.

I get accidents happen but even the floorpan issue that just all of a sudden is the reason to push back seems suspect months after these parts where supposed to have already been in hand to schedule.

I hope everyone that is getting emails for build dates have nothing but issues with their bronco. I hope the second you drive off the ford parking lot that your tires fall of and your bronco catches on fire.

In all seriousness, hopefully they don't keep moving your dates all over the place and your bronco gets built.

I have a 4D LB FE with black leather and haven’t gotten an email yet. Dealer says priority 10 and thinks it’s getting g pulled soon. Looks like my dual tops have automatically switched to MIC.

Are people with FE orders cancelling for Badlands?

A note on the 2 door floor plans- The problem didn't become apparent until larger quantities of pans were being shipped, caused by a combination of the design of the transport racks and the loading process. As of this morning, the racks have been modified and the issue has been resolved.

Printed my window sticker, so hopefully next week is build week! Ford has stuck by week of 21 June for a month or so now.
