That’s the cost/benefit analysis that each buyer gets to decide.I'm not sure how savvy it is. Travelling 2 days and spending cash on a hotel room/per diem to save $1,000, hummm...
I'm saving nearly $3k and my brothers house is about halfway. It's a no brainer and no need for one to have sour grapes because they were late to reserve.I'm not sure how savvy it is. Travelling 2 days and spending cash on a hotel room/per diem to save $1,000, hummm...
Not to mention, that's 1K below invoice, not MSRP, so....I'm saving nearly $3k and my brothers house is about halfway. It's a no brainer and no need for one to have sour grapes because they were late to reserve.
What type of deal did you get in Iowa? I’m in California, fifty minutes from Nevada dealership in Carson City? Just wondering if it’s worth the flight out and drive back?Nice job, Stephen's Auto and John H.
You think more dealers would do the math and play the long game. I'm in CA and headed to Iowa for mine, but I think and hope that you'll be rewarded for your approach.
I look at it this way: Me and the wife get to visit Charleston WV for 2 days as a mini vacation so travel does not count, saving $3251.00 over my local dealer and now that sound deadening headliner is free add another $465 (invoice) to that savings, alot more than $1000, hummm...I'm not sure how savvy it is. Agreed. I'm traveling about 10 hours to SAC to purchase my Bronco. Why? Because a hotel and trip through the Adirondacks is a way better option then paying MSRP or above at the 3 local dealers I inquired with. SAC has been wonderful to work with, I'm saving almost $3k (even with my travel costs), and I rather give my business to those that provide great customer service with a great deal.I'm saving nearly $3k and my brothers house is about halfway. Hi there,What type of deal did you get in Iowa? I’m in California, fifty minutes from Nevada dealership in Carson City? Just wondering if it’s worth the flight out and drive back?
Thanks!
I'm a 7/14 - 3pm reservation and I'm number 93. Missed it by *that* much. I'm also just under an hour from SAC and Bronco John.I wonder what the latest reservation time/date is that still fits SACs allocation of 2021s. It has to still be 7/14 but what time I wonder.
damn, good luck man...maybe they get a couple cancellations and you'll squeeze in.I'm a 7/14 - 3pm reservation and I'm number 93. Missed it by *that* much. I'm also just under an hour from SAC and Bronco John.
I'm hoping a few folks opt to defer to a MY22 or get bumped due to the Mod-top but I'm not holding my breath.damn, good luck man...maybe they get a couple cancellations and you'll squeeze in.
I did, but not by choice. Ford made that decision for me, sadly. Welcome to my 1st day res spot!Where were you in the initial allocations? I moved up and it's possible you did too. I'll bet those ahead of me probably deferred to '22.
So you deferred to '22? Can you share what the specifics of you deferring? BTW I was a first day res too.I did, but not by choice. Ford made that decision for me, sadly. Welcome to my 1st day res spot!
No, Ford deferred me. I strongly dislike the MIC top. I ordered a Mod top. They said, "too bad, chickie," so now I have to wait for 22.So you deferred to '22? Can you share what the specifics of you deferring? BTW I was a first day res too.
