With warranty expiring. And hit or miss dealer work quality. Nevermind the cost. I think a decent code scanner might be worth investing in. Any recommendations? My Bronco has been pretty good. But it’s a matter of time if you follow the forum.

You may want to look at scanners that are compatible with FORScan. I have the OBDLink MX+ and it stays in my Bronco. You can do much more than just read trouble codes.

Same one I use with Forscan most of the time. Also works with the phone apps. Nice Bluetooth adapter

Just note it will not work with FDRS though, if you ever need that

I used to use an XTOOLS D8 scan tool but now use the VDiag v70. It is great with the bluetooth dongle so I can walk around the vehicles or do live data reads while driving without a cord getting in the way.

I went with the VGate Vlinker. It's Bluetooth and works with ForScan Lite. I keep it in the glovebox and use it when I just want to see the code.

I also have the OBDlink EX for when I want to actually get use out of ForScan other than reading codes.
