Tightened torx screws too far on door storage?

I made a blunder when I was installing the Mabett door storage add ons (which I ended up removing since they protrude too much for my liking). When I was tightening a few of the screws, I went slightly too far until there was a "click" and it now will screw in but won't tighten at all. Am I SOL on those two areas where this happened, or is there some sort of solution for this?

If it can't be fixed, I'm just hoping the remaining are plenty to hold things on tightly without rattles or anything. 😐

You have to be careful when you're screwing into plastic.

One option would be to put a dab of epoxy on the screw before replacing it. That should keep it secure. Would be a problem if you ever need to remove it again, though.

Or use a slightly larger diameter screw to get more bite.

Thanks for the reply, that’s what I feared. If only I could find a larger one with “BRONCO” printed on it lol.

Anyone know what size Torx these are for that section and what the next size larger diameter would be to try in place?

You could also get creative with some thin double sided tape

Luckily the two that I got a little carried away on seem to still seat in there pretty snug without any movement or rattling. I think I'm just going to have to be really careful if I remove them again to put a new less intrusive door cargo box in there. The double sided tape is a good idea, maybe I'll pick up some 3M to toss on there once I find a good storage solution.

I got carried away with one of mine, put some loctite on it and that seems to hold it in place.

They take a Torx Plus 30 wrench, also called IP-30. But that doesn't have anything to do with the diameter of the threaded section.
