So the GoPro mount you're using, does it have an independent swivel adjustment for the actual camera? I'm just picturing a mount with a female thread that you screw this adapter into, and then you screw the other end of the adapter into the female thread in the dash. But once everything is tightened, the alignment of the mount is wherever it ends up, and wouldn't be adjustable at that point. Do you have a picture of the actual GoPro mount you're using?

Standard housing. Added a couple of rubber grommets to change rotation and allow some overturn.
