Well my daughter has had her 25 OBX Sasquatch for just a few months and came home with some crazy wire coming out of 2 places on side of tire near bottom. Probably won’t plug tire because it is to close to the side? Is the tire a Goodyear wrangler territory rt? That is what I was finding online even though the tire on the truck does not say Wrangler just Goodyear twice on the tire where Wrangler stamp would normally go. I also didn’t see the tire in too many places online? Found one local for about $300? Thx for help!

It is leaking.
Yeah it’s done then. cant plug the side wall - too much flex.

(I know this isnt the side wall but it is on the side biters or whatever they are called, which flex a lot too)

See if Goodyear will cover it under road hazard. The Ford Warranty says tires are covered by the tire manufacturers.

Your dealer may be able to help if they're also a Goodyear dealer.

Yes, it is a GY Wrangler Territory RT. GY supplies the tire without the Wrangler badge for Bronco production at Ford’s request.

$300 installed is a fair price…

The tires are available from Tire Rack as alternate tread pattern. The best way to find them is to put in the vehicle info on the Tire Rack website and search for OEM tires.

That's a pretty crazy situation....any idea what happened? 😱

Agree with others, too close to the sidewall to plug/patch, unfortunately.

I'd consider just using the spare off the T/G, and throw some slime in this one, and mount it as the spare you'll likely never use....

I was already thinking about just switching out the spare. I’m not too familiar with my daughter’s bronco and was wondering how easy it is for the spare to come off the bronco? Doesn’t some brake light or some wires have to be disconnected or something?Guess any tire store could do it?

Nope, just remove the lug nuts, and pull it off.....but it's heavy, 85-90 lbs, so be ready!

Tire rack shows the Goodyear only on tire and not wrangler as other tire shops do? Not sure if this is accurate.
