TORSO octane additive..

Hi Group, have not been able to get 91 let alone 93 octane fuel.. Performance shop in the dealership turned me on to Torso additive.. Just wondered if anyone else has used that additive. My 2.3L with a 6 point octane increase likes that fuel and I bagged 22.1 Mpg going up and down hills at 65 mph..

My area is 86-88-91, and I believe the 2.7 is rated for minimum 87 octane. I'm curious if an octane booster can offset the cost of mid- or premium fuel, or if it's cheaper to just buy the gas.

The local area for me has 87-89-91 with a few stores selling 93. Some places skip the mid grade and other places selling E88 and flex fuels.

The Torso is not cheap, it’s just a means to an end for us.. If you can get 91 octane I would say run with it.. The 6 octane points I have now really kick in.. ( 87 to 93) However, I’m trying to run the 2.3 L with a 10 speed and a 3.73 gear.. The 93+ octane is for a Performance Tune eventually. First I have to get transmission checked to see that it is operating properly. 32oz of Torso was $32.00. It will take one can of this for a fill up with 90 octane.. Fuel is going to be expensive, but we love this Race red Bronco.. Probably my favorite vehicle of all time.. It’s just COOL!

Sunoco has 94 Octane, but they're mainly on the Turnpike

Wonder what gains I'd get throwing that in when I always do 93
