Why am I reading an article by Tyler Durden?

Makes sense that this was coming. I work for a supplier of Toyota and the new projects for new models/model years keep getting pushed back further and further

Yes, things are not getting better, at least as far as global shipments/supply chain.
I am hearing 2023 now before any relief of chip shortages, but no one really has an answer, just 'best guesses'.

I drive past a dealership on my way home. I literally thought to myself "hmm, that lot had like 8 cars on it" and we'll this explains it.

My dad works for a supplier of Toyota as well and in May they took 2 weeks off because they were worried about demand. Now there is talk that they might shut down again over the next month for a week or so.

Same here, its been very fluid and changing every week. I work at FIC, based on your location, does your dad happen to work at FIA? It would be super weird coincidence
