Trail Camera Recording?

Yeah, I know they talked about that way back when but I haven't heard anything about it recently. That's why I was wondering if maybe it was a "Coming Soon" feature or if maybe it was scrapped all together.

KOH would have been a great chance to showcase the record, review, and share features if they had then ready to go.

Plus, that is right after talking about Ford Pass. I would hope that they wouldn't lock that feature down to the Lux package or a subscription, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me either. See garage door opener...

correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure allowing standard USB ports to access the computer would allow a huge hacking risk. which is why you have to access OBD for most stuff.

Nope, upgraded my F-250's Sync with a USB thumb drive. Not just an update but entire new build from the 2020's. Mine's a 2017.
