I got the brand new bumper brackets from our own TD distributing. I believe I’m the first person to install them because it started with some DMs to each other about how over priced these brackets are. Well old tricky D managed to offer a much less expensive option. So I paired them with the Auxbeam 7” LED lights with DRL/Backlight. I think this is the most cost effective combo for some great looking driving lights. I’m attaching a full album and will answer any questions.

Nice! I'm a big fan of rally lights on the Bronco. I'm running a set of 9" up front on the modular bumper and absolutely love them.

I need to find better mounts for mine as the supplied mounts still allow vibration at high speed so the lights appear to flicker a bit.

Awesome! Thanks for the support Tom! You even beat me, I've had the brackets on for a while but my lights haven't come in yet.

visible but not a huge deal.
Did you center the lights on the brackets and the brackets on the bumper? The slots give about 3" of total play so the lights could be pushed out a tad more.

No. They are not as wide as they could be. I had a visual preference for where I wanted them. The amount they are visible in the camera doesn’t really bother me.

I should add more install details like why I have the driver side front fender off. I had to pull back the fender liner so I could hide a very large coil of harness for the drivers side light. It’s strangely hard to open up and you’ll need a 7mm socket.

The Auxbeam lights came with a nice harness that has 2 relays one for the main light and one for the DRL/backlight. It also includes a dual switch that I didn’t want to use. Instead I removed the switch and connected to the factory Aux switches. 4 is the backlight and 5 is the driving lamps. If you go this route you don’t need the red and black wire in the switch side of the harness. Just white and blue. White is the DRL and blue is the main light.

I initially wanted to connect the DRL to my cars DRL circuit but the add a fuse kit I had didn’t fit in the fuse box. I may eventually buy the SPV headlight harness.

I should also mention that I didn't use the hardware that came with the Auxbeams. It was a nice stainless carriage bolt but IMO it was a little too long and shiny silver. I was also concerned a single point of connection might eventually spin. So, I got some metric socket head bolts and stainless washers/Nylok nuts I painted black. This prevents it from ever spinning even if it loosens up and is less visible than a shiny carriage bolt.

That's a great idea to take advantage of the slot.

Thanks for the post! Those brackets are exactly what I've been looking for. I have a front winch bumper from IAG ( Link below ) and wanted brackets to put lights on each side. I also bought the Smitybilt to go on it.
